Question - (8 June 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 20 June 2007)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have the opportunity to change direction in my life and have come to the decision that i am not suited to office jobs.

I would like a job which is more creative and holds more of a challenge.

I have a keen interest in music and its production, but have been finding it hard to get started anywhere.

I have been members of various music industry websites and have sent numerous cv`s off to relevant companies in this field.

Any help or suggestions?

A male reader, Frank B Kermit Canada +, writes (20 June 2007):

Frank B Kermit agony auntStart with part time internships. It will be unpaid, but get you in the door. See if you can take a course at a local university, just to meet other students and teachers in the field, and start a librairy at home of books for that industry.

Mostly, if you are serious about an artistic career, get out of debt. Seriously. There is nothing that makes people leave such a low paying industry like credit card and other debts.
