Question - (18 December 2006) 1 Answers - (Newest, 20 June 2007)
A female age 26-29, nurse writes:

I really want to go into nursing in special care for babies. I had to drop out of doing my access into nursing due to having my little girl. I have other children and can't afford to go to university. I was told that if I went into Auxialary nursing, after a few years I could ask the NHS to put me on an NVQ coure and if passed, could go into any nursing feild. Is this true? Is there any other route besides uni?
