Hi, I hope anyone out there can give me some advice asap as Im supposed to be giving my notice in at work tomorrow!!!

Basically, Im 23 years old and have a good job in Finance in the Magistrates Courts. I enjoy the job, I really like the people I work with and the job has alot of benefits and opportunties for promotion and further training. However, I work 35 miles away from my home and it is costing me £200 a month to get to work (my take-home pay £875 per month)by train as I dont have my own transport. I am currently in alot of personal debt with banks and so every other penny I earn goes on bills. I never have anything for myself.

But Ive just been offered a job closer to home as a Secretary earning the same amout as my current job but I wont be paying out £200 for train fares every month. The only problem is that it is for a small company with no 'perks' to the job and no promotion opportunities. I dont know whether to stay where I am cos of the benefits of the job or take the new job and save myself some money, im really stuck!!!

I cant get a transfer from the court because there is no court in the area I live in. Ive already said yes to this new job and am supposed to be handing my notice in tomorrow but Im scared I could be making a big mistake!!!
