writes: HiI'm currently unemployed for 5 years as i had to look after my mother who was sick and unable to get around. The only only qualification i have ia a btec first diploma in engineering which i passed with merit all the way.What jobs would i be able to apply for i am currently 28 and not taking any income support or related benefits.  Have you tried going to a local programme centre? They can give you advice on jobs as well as having job search facilities.
