I went to college when I was 17 and did two GCSEs child development and english. i was going to do the prioccess slowly. But now theve created a course called ''Access''. Im starting an access to social sciences in september. You need no qualifications to gain entry just determination and a decent knowlegde of literacy and numeracy. And if you struggle with thie they help you alot! Its great and access course is the equivilant of three A levels n if you pass you gain access to any university. From there you can do a degree and if you want a high level in a QST (Qualifyed teacher status) you can do a PGCE which is one year and very useful. I plan to do it after the degree. From there theres so many options. You can forfill this career with a little ambition. GO for it and dont let anyone tell you that you dont have what it takes. Good Luck...

A teaching degree takes 4 years - you can either do this as a straightforward teaching 4 year course or do 3 years of one degree and then a year's teacher training.
You need to work hard if you really want this. I'd start by going back to school or college unless you decide to do something that doesn't demand these sorts of qualifications.

Then take the courses and become one.
It may take a few years but if you really want it that bad it will be worth it
