writes:Hi,i'd like to become a fashion buyer and next year go to the London College of Fashion to study fashion management (it includes buying, merchandising, marketing, business etc). I know someone who is going this year and she told me that 2000 usually apply for the course but only 100 are selected. Before she was accepted by the university she had organised 2 fashion shows herself, which made her really stand out to the uni. What could i do that will make me stand out? im doing work experience at 3 different clothes this summer (for a week each) and one of them said they might take me away with them sometime to DO their fashion buying and show me how its done (we live on an island).I really think i need something that will make me stand out to all the other applicants! any ideas?thanks! How about your own website where you interview all the local and international fashion industry people INCLUDING the professors of that school? They would notice you then...
