I want to do something with fashion i've been told i have talent i've done abit of making and i have a portfolio etc but i dont know whether to stay at 6th form and finish off my A levels ( Art english drama and psychology,) or go to a fashion centre.i really enjoyed my work experience making clothes for a weeek and i did shine. although id love to go back there i dont know if its best to get A levels to fall back on, then go to the design centre. i have spoken to my teachers about this, but they havent helped much....well at all.any guidance will be much appreciated :) Reply to this Question Share |

Speaking from personal experience, I would strongly advise you stick to your course first. I never did and no ive had to go back in my mid twenties to redo what i didnt finish. Plus the advantages of finish your course are more than getting a fashion job! Once you get into the working world then you get given more responsibility and you start having less time for yourself and your friends. At college you can have social interaction with hundreds of people, with a hell of a lot less work then going to a job every day. Plus, its much more fun. Even if you dont like the course much, stay and take advantage of this posistion because believe me, you wont get a chance to do it again!
