Help! Major college change question

A female United States age 22-25, Temper212 writes:

I'm a student in college- and seem to be having a hard ime in classes. I belive most of it is just that I need to take this statistics class in order to graduate, and I'm TERRIBLE at math. I know I'm failing the class. I've been passionate about psychology since I was very young, and still have interest in the subject, but can't seem to make myself care about class anymore.

To top it off, I'm getting married in August and need to do something relatively permanent.

I've known that, for career purposes, I'd get a nursing degree after my psych degree so that I could be making some money while working towards a doctorate- a doctorate that I'm not even sure I'm going to go for anymore.

I am about a year or year and a half away from graduating with the psych degree- I can get a nursing degree in less than a year since I already have the prerequisites.

Sooo- the long and short of it is- I'm trying to figure out if I should abandon the psych degree and go ahead for the nursing degree- this way I could be making some money, but I don't know if I can pick up where i left off on my psych degree or not.

rockelle agony auntIf you are terrible in Math a Nursing degree does require some Math and Chemistry involves a lot of math also I am sure you will have to take college level Chemistry. That was my hardest class, and I hate math. However maybe you could get some tutoring or get a classmate as a study budy and see if that helps you out. I am sure you have an academic advisor go and talk with him/her and see what they suggest.
