writes: hii am 26 and have not many qualifications. i am a qualified dental nurse but dont want to go back to that job.for the last 5 years i have been working as an assistant scientist but my work is about to close making me redundant. i am currently on sick leave as i have just a an eye operation and am due to have the other one done next year.and i dont know what to do next ? wait to have my other eye done then go back to college ?but money is an issue with that arrgghhh im just worried i love my scientist job and have become a specialist in my field but still ave no big scientific qualifications and there are no other jobs within the area that i work. please help Reply to this Question |

First things first. Get out of debt, and save up some money. Cut out all unnecessary expensives. That will give you the freedom you need to explore your other options.
Once you have more time to learn, go to the library and read read read as much as you can about the job you want, and see what skills you currently have that would be transferable. It will give you the further focus you need.
