midgetgem agony auntI used to work in recruitment for unemployed people and still often give advice to friends. Many people don't realise that they have what we call 'transferable skills' which can be applied from their old job or even from their life experiences.

Let me have a look at your Cv I might be able to give you some advice.

DrPsych agony auntGo and see a careers advisor - do a google search for your local careers advice office or ask at a job centre. If you are in the UK, you can do an apprenticeship up until the age of 24. Or maybe go back to college and get some training? You may qualify for a grant.
