I have wanted yo be an actress since I was about 4 and even though I know its not a very reliable career I can't think of anything else i'd want to be. In school I excel at languages so thought it would be a good idea to do those. I was thinking of doing: double science, German + French (this is a special combined subject course running), Drama, Spanish and History. What do you think of this as my options? Languages are a good focus, you can make money as a translator, but I wonder if you realise the amount of TIME you will have to put in with so many of them.
Drop history. Too much time. Not enough return.
For acting:
Drama (of course)
Writing (for theatre and Media) Script writing a must.
Media related courses (learn how to focus on acting, while learning about the meduims you will act in)
Dance (get comfortable with your body)
Physical Education (to keep you in shape)
Marketing (more important than you will ever know)
