Jimmy is right. All his points are great, but here's one more for you.
The answer to the inevitable question "Why do you want to work for us?" is NEVER "Because I need a job/money/rent" etc.
I've interviewed scores of people over the years, and always grit my teeth when I have to ask that question, because it's always asked as an opportunity for the interviewee to tell the panel all about your good qualities and why working for that particular company would benefit everyone.
The panel don't want to hear that you need money... *everybody* needs money. What you should remember to say is something like that you think the company is the best of its kind, and because you're so good too (yadda yadda yadda), you think you're a perfect fit!
Example:
Interviewer: "And why would you like to work here?"
You: (BAD) "Well, I'm about $6000 in debt, 'cause I just bought a car, so I really need a job... somewhere, I guess. And you were hiring, so here I am."
BZZZT! Wrong answer. Let's try again:
You: "Well, firstly, I'm very excited about widget manufacture. It was a special interest of mine in school, and in fact, I did my senior-level science project on widgets in the workplace. Secondly, I've been looking at WidgetCorp on the web and it appears that you've been increasing production every year since 2001. I want to be part of a company with growth like yours, and with my past history and background, I feel sure that I'd have a lot to contribute. So obviously, I'd feel challenged and appreciated in a company like yours if I were successful in winning the appointment."
Answering that one question well can be the make-or-break difference between two good applicants, so do a bit of research on the place you want to work, and try to imagine how *they'd* benefit if they hired you.
Good luck with your interview!

1. Be nice and friendly. This sounds insanely obvious but you would be AMAZED at how many folks are rude or unfriendly to the interviewer.
2. Be neat and tidy for the interview. Clean hair, fresh breath, not too much perfume or fragrance. Again, it's simple but it matters.
3. Know about the company and have a couple of questions.
Remember you're checking THEM out as much as they're checking you out. Just be yourself and you'll do fine.
Jimmy
