Since finishing school I have always worked in the music industry in varied roles such as a record store manager, and more recently working at a record company in the roles of sales representative, promotions manager/publicist and currently a talent scout and product manager. I'm looking to branch out into a different industry however do not have much interest returning to retail, working in a sales capacity or promotions and publicity. Returning to school in a full time capacity is not an option. What roles can you suggest? Reply to this Question |

How about marketing for internet businesses? You can start with internet radio stations, and work your way into more braodcast admin positions, and finally branch out from there to non-entertainment industry admin positions.
Also, you have enough people skills to be an office manager at young companies. How about that?
